    다음세대 어와나 클럽에 오신것을 진심으로 환영합니다.

    • 교육목표 | ​EDUCATIONAL
    • “부끄러울 것이 없는 인정된 일꾼”(Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed) 이라는 뜻으로 디모데후서 2장 15절의 말씀을 영어 성경 (KJ Version)의 첫 글자를 따서 만든 이름입니다.
      어와나는 약 65년의 역사 동안 연구되고 발전된 세계적인 선교기관으로서 세계 115개국에서 실시하고 있으며, 지금은 미국 내에서만 약 3만 클럽으로 발전했고, 60만명 이상의 청소년들이 매주 어와나 클럽에 참석하여 하나님 말씀으로 양육 받고 있습니다. 한국에서도 현재 약 130여개의 교회 240개 클럽에서 9000명이상의 클럽원들이 어와나 프로그램을 통해 그리스도의 복음을 제시받고 성경을 배우고 있으며, 매주 2,000여명의 교사들이 클럽원들을 돕고 있습니다.

      The name “Awana” comes from the initials of Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed, taken from 2 Timothy 2:15 in the King James Version.

      For over 65 years, Awana has been a global missionary organization, researched and developed to serve churches and families. Today, Awana is active in 115 countries worldwide. In the United States alone, there are about 30,000 clubs, with more than 600,000 young people attending weekly to be nurtured by God’s Word. In Korea, around 9,000 club members participate in approximately 240 clubs across 130 churches, where they hear the gospel of Christ and study Scripture, assisted by about 2,000 teachers every week.

    • 교육목적 | PURPOSE OF EDUCATION
    • 어와나의 사역 목적은 지역 교회가 어린이와 청소년, 나아가 그들의 가정을 그리스도의 복음으로 구원하고 훈련하며, 하나님을 위해 봉사하는 그리스도인으로 성장시키는 일을 하도록 돕는 것입니다. 

      The purpose of Awana’s ministry is to help the local church reach children, youth, and their families with the gospel of Christ, train them in discipleship, and raise them to become Christians who serve God.

    • 지도목표 및 5가지 사역의 원리 | LEADERSHIP GOALS & FIVE PRINCIPLES OF MINISTRY
    • 일차적으로는, 어린이와 청소년을 구원하고 훈련시켜 그리스도를 섬기도록 하려는 것이고, 나아가서는 그들의 부모와 다른 가족들까지도 전도하고 훈련시키는 것, 즉 ‘영혼 구원과 훈련’에 두고 있다. 

      The primary goal is to lead children and youth to salvation and train them to serve Christ. Beyond that, it seeks to reach and disciple their parents and families as well — focusing on both salvation and discipleship.

      1. 복음중심 Gospel-centered
      Awana 사역의 첫 번째 원리이자, 전부입니다. 복음중심은 하나님께서 65년 이상의 시간 동안 전 세계 약 100여개의 국가에서 Awana를 사용하고 계신 이유입니다. 만일 Awana의 사역과 Awana의 사역자, 선교사, 동역자에게 복음의 정신이 없다면, Awana의 모든 사역은 의미 없는 사역이 될 것입니다. 

      This is the first and most essential principle of Awana. The gospel is the reason God has been using Awana in over 100 countries for more than 65 years. Without the gospel at the heart of Awana’s ministries, leaders, missionaries, and co-workers, all efforts would be meaningless.

      2. 성경암송 Bible Verses
      Awana 사역의 두 번째 원리이자, 핵심입니다. Awana 클럽은 클럽원들이 스스로 진리의 말씀을 암송하고 그 의미를 분별하며 삶에 적용할 수 있도록 돕습니다. 클럽원들은 각 클럽의 핸드북을 통하여 매년 약 50-100개의 성경구절을 암송합니다. 

      This is the second and core principle of Awana. Clubs help children memorize God’s Word, discern its meaning, and apply it to their lives. Through their handbooks, clubbers memorize about 50–100 verses each year.

      3. 재미있고, 흥미진진 Fun & Exciting
      Awana 사역의 세 번째 원리이자, 방법입니다. Awana는 게임 시간 뿐만 아니라 모든 클럽 활동 시간 동안 창의적이고 흥미로운 방법으로 복음을 전달합니다. 

      This is the third principle and method of Awana. The gospel is shared in creative and engaging ways, not only during game time but throughout all club activities.

      4. 예수 그리스도를 섬기도록 훈련 Training to Serve Jesus Christ Steadily
      Awana 사역의 네 번째 원리이자, 목표입니다. Awana는 클럽의 모든 어린이와 청소년들이 하나님을 알고, 사랑하게 되기를 원합니다. 또한 하나님을 알고 사랑하는 것이 반드시 다른 사람을 섬기는 행동으로 나타날 수 있도록 클럽원들을 격려합니다. 

      This is the fourth principle and goal of Awana. The ministry aims for all children and youth to know and love God, and encourages them to express that love through serving others.

      5. 견고한 리더십 개발 Strong Leadership Development
      Awana 사역의 다섯 번째 원리이자, 동력입니다. Awana는 각 클럽의 사역자와 교사들을 위해 다양하고 탁월한 교사 훈련과정을 제공합니다. Awana 클럽의 교사들이 성장하는 만큼 어린이와 청소년 클럽원들도 자라날 수 있기 때문입니다. 

      This is the fifth principle and driving force of Awana. The ministry provides excellent training programs for club leaders and teachers, because as they grow, so will the children and youth in their care.
