    • Welcome to the English Ministry of Shin Kwang church of NY.
      We believe in the one unified catholic body of Christ of all those that are baptized by the Holy Spirit. As the one body has many members that make up the body, many ethnicities make up our particular and local expression of that one unified and catholic body of Christ.

      We take as our unifying confession, the historic doctrines of the RCA, namely the Three Forms of Unity:

      1. The Heidelberg Catechism
      2. The Belgic Confession
      3. The Canons of Dort

      We subscribe to The Belhar Confession insofar as it is interpreted in the light of the historic traditions and confessions of the Reformed faith.

      The latter glory of this house shall be greater than the former, says the Lord of hosts. And in this place I will give peace, declares the Lord of hosts.
    In John 6:6-8, when Jesus preached and taught the words of eternal life,
    many of his own disciples stopped following him. Then Jesus said to the twelve, “Will you also go away?” Simon peter’s response was
    “Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.”
    • Our purpose, then as the body of the Lord Jesus Christ is
      (1) To know God, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom he has sent,

      (2) To diligently and without ceasing preach and teach these very words of eternal life, both inside and outside the church.
    As Christ has blessed us, we hope to be a blessing to you, in Jesus name. Amen
