This week, kids learned in Exodus 14:19-31 that God did an amazing and spectacular miracle for His people. The Israelites had just been freed from 400 years of slavery. As they followed Moses through the desert, Pharaoh sent his army to bring them back. God protected His people with a cloud by day and a fire by night. He told Moses to tell the people not to be afraid. Then God parted the Red Sea for His people to pass through safely. The Egyptian army followed but ended up perishing. God protected His people. Bible Memory Verse: “And when the Israelites saw the mighty hand of the LORD displayed against the Egyptians, the people feared the LORD and put their trust in Him and in Moses His servant.” Exodus 14:31
