    Welcome to the Shin Kwang Church of NY

    • Who We Are
    • One Church in Christ
      Shin Kwang Church of New York is one church, united in Christ by the Holy Spirit.
      Our English-speaking worship is not a separate ministry or department,
      but one expression of the life and worship of Shin Kwang Church.
      Though we worship in different languages and come from diverse cultural backgrounds,
      we move forward together as one body—
      sharing the same faith, the same calling, and the same purpose in Christ.

    • Rooted in the Reformed Faith
      Shin Kwang Church is a congregation of the Reformed Church in America,
      grounded in the historic Reformed faith as confessed in
      the Three Forms of Unity:
      The Heidelberg Catechism
      The Belgic Confession
      The Canons of Dort
      We also receive the Belhar Confession
      as it is understood in light of these historic Reformed confessions.
      Our faith is firmly rooted in Scripture,
      and we seek to live as a church shaped by the Word of God.

      The English-speaking worship of Shin Kwang Church
      shares fully in the direction and purpose of the whole church.
      We are a church that is:
      Christ-centered
      confessing Jesus Christ alone as Lord and Savior
      Mission-centered
      living for the expansion of God’s kingdom in the world
      Glory-centered
      seeking in all things the glory of God alone
      As Christ has blessed us,
      we pray that we may be a blessing to all whom God brings among us.
